Element Skateboards came and kicked it. With 75 boards to flip through and Don Pendelton keeping things alive with his live paintings, it was a pleasure. Don is great and to see his board designs come alive on the canvas right in front of you is its own reward. So many big plans in the making, look out for the next Element level, soon to come. Werd to Don and the entire Element team for making this happen.
Martha Cooper.....what can i say? She’s amazing, talented, professional, full of cheer and charisma, and still puttin’ it down. With 300+ photos on display, it really pulled the entire exhibit together. It was more than an honor and a pleasure, and rest assured that there are more MC goodies to come, with new books poppin’ up, new collabs, and nothing but the best intentions.....you rock Martha!

Props to the KDU dynasty, who in all their projects, endeavors and meetings, still made time to kick it, all smiles, and work towards the next level. Bullet-proofed guns do exist, and calligraphy is still hand-drawn. Be on the lookout for more “untitled” KDU shizzle.
Monihan Monihan not only helped out with an “untitled” canvas, but came to life on location with the camera, working in conjunction with URB Magazine, to take artist interviews and detail the exhibition in its entirety. 8 canvases came to the foreground, with each respective shirt on display and for sale. We’re very proud of these canvases, with such great content and commitment between the artists and infinity. Inocuo, Zedz, Monihan, Aesop Rock, Foreign Family, Florian Boehm, CemOne/MastaAce, Goodhood. You really made it happen, and in the nick of time.
False came in just at the right angle. We are proud to show off this display of handmade products, an ode to the modern man, displaying such fundamental content, we really see what the False crew is all about. We’ll be seeing False steppin’ it up real soon....Cheers yous twos.
Last, but defiantly not least, the sneaker displays were awesome! Four pairs of FLOM’s, Converse Jams, JB Classics in da house, and the adidas 1979 project. And an unforgettable mix-up of various limiteds and collabs. Any sneaker crazy fan would be proud, and amazed.
And, as if it weren’t enough, Reebok really stepped things up with 4 Reebok artist collabed sneaks, cleverly displayed. Guess you’ll just have to check those out along the way, but big shouts to the Reebok crew for the hi-tech displays, the incredible beat-boy battles, and the all-around helpfulness. Good work guys!
A huge success, the party kicked ass, with JBounce and DJ Rafik from the Lordz of Fitness crew on the tables, they got the party started and kept it going, passing it over for the Patta Boyz to rock on through til the morning....thanks for the great times boys. Brothas from anotha mutha. Thanks Gravis, we made this happen together.
