Barcelona....we’re back and we’re on a roll. Suffice it to say that there are always the usual ups and downs, but we made it back, this time out into the town. With four shops and two galleries, “untitled” has made a decent-sized contribution to this city by the sea, further compounded by the shear amount of collaborative support from participating shops and artists alike, not to forget, the loads of help from friends and supporters, and all of our sponsors, especially Gravis, MTN Colors and Zen Booking.

24 Kilates offers up the usual cozy and elegant interior, with a great selection of shoes and apparel, books and magazines, and a cool collection of dvd’s. We added our touch with the equally elegant and sleek Reebok pinhole displays, which are quite catchy from the large front window of the shop. A cube vitrine full of limited edition kicks, one side order of FLOM’s, et voila!

BOB Sneakers and JB Classics definitely hit it off with a simple yet colorful and effective JB display. Herr Orm offered up his latest sneaker dissection for display, which fit nicely to the short length of wall in this cool little shop. And let’s not forget the voodoo doll touch from JB’s very own Miss Mdot, and some decorative JB boxes to boot. All in all, a great addition to the shop, but sorry BOB, we’ll have to come get it all back soon to take with us to Paris....

Galeria Miscelanea was a hit! All those meters of white wall can be rather intimidating, but when you have seven eager artists and three days, apparently its all good. A great collaborative effort from Btoy, Inocuo, Justin Case & Olivia, Emil Kozak and Jordae, topped off with an impressive opening night of live painting, plenty of drinks (Jägermeister!) and some good tunes. You’ll just have to check for yourself, as there are just way too many good photos that can better describe the event. Thanks everybody for coming out for the night and getting your hands dirty.

Montana Shop & Gallery has recently undergone a very spacious first-rate renovation, and coincidentally, Miss Martha Cooper’s 300+ photo display is neatly nestled amongst exhibiting works from artist Mr. Kern. Perhaps it’s not the most obvious match-up, but we were happily satisfied and we guarantee a unique presentation. If you’re in Barcelona, this is worth a looksie... and maybe a couple cans of paint for the long Barcelona nights....

The RAS Bookstore is located down a cool little street in the center of town, which isn’t really so different from any of the other locations, except that RAS is the coolest bookstore in town, which makes a bold statement. As they also have a gallery space in the back of the store, we decided to take advantage of their large blank walls, so we set up the Element artist series skate decks and various canvases, including the eight artist collab ‘infinity’ canvases, the two paintings Don Pendleton made for us at the last BBB tradeshow and as well a new addition to the “untitled” collection, Emil Kozak printed up a pretty cool pink canvas. You’ll just have to take a look for yourself. Thanks to the RAS team for all their efforts and the great cooperation!

The Rent Shop is a quaint little fashionista shop located in a nook & cranny kinda spot, but a great setting nonetheless. We decided to have some more artists get together and paint in the ‘infinity’ theme, which has worked out good so far, but they just keep on painting, so you’ll have to stay tuned for the final results....only a teaser for now. Gravis kicked it off with a cool collection from their canvas series shoes, including Delta, Juno and Marok among others. Also up in the shop, a selection of ‘now and then’ street art photos from local photographer, K.R. Celma, which he mounted on spaced cardboard, adding a unique twist to the presentation. A comfortable little spot full of life and energy and color and a ‘do it yourself’ attitude, The Rent Shop has been a great addition to our “untitled” Barcelona tour.
