Paris....what can we say? This is an amazing city. So full of life and charm and beauty and romance, an abundance of ins and outs and ups and downs and all-arounds. Paris has been the perfect setting for our last stop on the “untitled” No.8 tour. While the large metropolitan traffic nightmare is enough to make anyone go nuts, especially the set-up team, this city has both embraced and intensified the “untitled” project. Six participating stores, lots of footwork, seven eager artists and one great gallery later, et voila!
Thanks to everyone involved, all participants and especially participating shop owners, for you were all truly supportive, and it’s you guys that this tour is all about!
Aimecube is a quaint little shop down a quiet little side street, off Rue St. Honoré, yet this little gem is anything but hushed: Rowdy beats, loud colors and all the hip cool new gear you’ve been looking for. We added in some “untitled” flare with two of the Reebok black boxes and the full new line from JB Classics shoes for display. In addition, we have 3 special collab releases on the way, to begin with the new Double Goose x “untitled” x Aimecube jackets. Of course, it would be totally out of character for shop-owners Morgane & Marion if there wasn’t a party to kick off this collab release...you can find all the info you need on their website.....thanks girlz!!

Artoyz is your one-stop toy shop in Paris. They’ve got it all, from designer toys to their own toy and clothing lines, and to top it all off, they have a huge gallery space downstairs. Teaming up with Artoyz, we are happy to welcome back Toygiants, which we last worked with at the beginning of the tour in Barcelona, this past January. Selim Varol, the man behind the Toygiants content, displays various framed photos from his private collection. Stop by for a chat with the Artoyz crew, all of which are full of life and laughs.

The Carhartt Store in Paris is a great stop along the tour. They’ve got their own style. It’s very well organized and clean, and offers a pretty nice selection of gear. And as Carhartt and Ms. Cooper have worked together in the past, we found this to be the best spot for the Martha Cooper photo display. If you still haven’t been able to catch up with this photo display on the tour yet, head on down to Rue St. Honoré for a looksie...it’s definitely worth your time.

Gallery Issue was yet another collaborative success! The gallery location is perfectly situated in the center of town, just a minute’s walk from the famous Pompidou Museum. But the gallery space itself is just what the doctor ordered. It’s spacious, friendly, open and caters to the exact same ideals that the “untitled” project is all about: openness, awareness, collaboration and fun. Similar to the Barcelona stop, we invited 7 artists to come paint live for passersby to get more than just a glimpse of art in motion. What started out as plenty of blank canvas for the artists, turned into 3 amazing works of art, and in the first two days! Suffice it to say, the artists then took to the gallery walls. All in all, another great collaborative effort, including the work of BitchesInControl, Collin van der Sluijs, Rutger Termohlen, Koa, Maze and alexone.
Furthermore, we also brought the artist collab walls from Galeria Miscelanea and The Rent Shop in Barcelona with us, additionally representing the artists we have worked with along the way. And with just enough wall space to accommodate the participating artists, we also hung up the Element Artist Series skate decks and the ‘Before and after” photos from K.R. Celma, as well as a nice “untitled” book display.
A big shout-out and thank you to gallery owner Pierre-Yves for all the help, patience and teamwork!

The Lazy Dog is one of those bookstores that has everything you are looking for, which is further amplified by a small and cozy gallery space downstairs. As we love books, and we love to make our own books, we jumped at the chance to work with The Lazy Dog. Here we used the gallery space to showcase our various artist canvas and t-shirt collaborations, which makes for a nice display as the space provides a low ceiling, giving a unique impression. Fittingly, we added in some cube displays to show-off the various artist collabed canvas shoes from Gravis, including Stay High 149, Marok, Delta, Matt Sewel and Stash, among others. It being a bookstore and all, we also put up a nice window display of “untitled” books and streetwear today magazines. Congratulations go out to shop and gallery owner, Romuald, for all of his hard work in making his two Lazy Dog locations so successful.

MW Shift, situated right around the corner from The Lazy Dog, is a hip little shop with their own vision of streetwear. Marco, the owner, being a sneaker guy, we decided this would be the ideal spot for a vitrine full o’ sneakers. The shop being so small, the large vitrine, centered at the doorway, evenly dominates and accommodates the space. And being the cool Reebok shop in the area, we put up the other two Reebok black boxes for all to see. Stop in and take a peek.

The WeSC store for Paris sits near to Gallery Issue, down a calm little side street, and the owner, Edern Clement, has made this shop just plain cool. Everything WeSC can be found here, and they have a chill downstairs space available for....well, whatever, actually. So, we took the opportunity to set up a small “untitled” pop-up store. Up for grabs: posters, books, magazines, Jeremy Fish and Obey prints, shirts, sweaters, and more in this. And the best part, the 21st of this month (we’re in June people!), the streets will flood with party animals for the annual ‘Fete de la Musique’ festival. Stop on by the WeSC store and say hi...we’ll be there!
